FROM SMALL STORE TO BIG DREAMS

Lilibeth's Microfinance Journey

Lilibeth smiles brightly beside her food store. Though small in size, this business helped her send her eldest son to college. She continues to work hard to do the same for her youngest who is just 7 years old. Her journey hasn't been easy as recently her husband couldn't help her due to sickness. Still, Lilibeth continues to man their store and find ways to grow it. It helps that their store is located in front of a public school. And with the start of another school year, she will add stocks and maybe better equipment to help her as she sells snacks.

Lilibeth expresses her gratitude to our Microfinance Project and our partner Captivating for the continued support. Though she manages her store alone due to unforeseen circumstances, the support she receives from the program helps her not give up and continue smiling towards a brighter future.
